Greyson Bench

The Greyson Bench was my first stab at doing a waterfall edge.  After being given a large slab of oak, I began designing out what the bench should look like.  What started as waterfall leg meant to go to the floor quickly took a turn thanks to an issue with the planer. But with a little bit of improvisation I made a small metal leg to bridge the gap and was back on my way.  The other leg was also welded out of metal and connects to the supporting frame underneath. Aside from the few hiccups I encountered,  the Greyson Bench ended up being the merging of the beauty of nature and modern design I had hoped it could be.
